(1) For work related to vote counting, the candidate or election representative may appoint the number of vote counting representatives as determined by the election officer.
(2) A vote counting representative can be appointed to a person whose name is in the last voter list of the rural municipality or municipal ward under the relevant constituency and who knows how to read and write.
(3) The term of office of the counting representative shall continue until the announcement of the election results unless the candidate or the election representative cancels it beforehand.
(4) In order for the counting representative to enter the counting place, the election officer must give the identification card of the counting representative.
(5) It shall be the duty of the counting representative to assist in the completion of the vote counting in a peaceful manner and to stamp the slips to be prepared during the counting.
